On Thursday, the Designer Outlet Center in Roermond will open a new 11,000 sqm section, boosting its brand store number to nearly 200.
Another fifty stores
The so-called “soft opening” will be on 6 April, with the official opening to follow next week. The Designer Outlet Center’s extension will have cost about seventy million euro.
The new addition will welcomes stores from Karl Lagerfeld and Ted Beker, but also store formulas like Birkenstock, Brax, Fred De La Bretoniere, G-Star, Marlies Dekkers, La Perla, Sunglass Hut and Woolrich. Adidas will open a larger store since it already has a store in the older section of the Designer Outlet Center. For customers craving food and drinks, chains like La Place, Starbucks, Wagamama and Burger Federation will cater to their needs.
Designer Outlet Center Roermond will get fifty new stores, with still sixty vacancies, and that will turn it into one of Northern Europe’s largest designer outlets, according to owner McArthurGlen in De Limburger. McArthGlen is Europe’s largest designer outlet manager and recently acquired Rosada Fashion Outlet in Roosendaal. In total, the company manages 22 outlet centers in nine countries.
