Lingerie chain Hunkemöller is examining its options to open a store in London. It came to the United Kingdom in 2011, but quickly withdrew. Late last year, it opened a local web shop.

CEO Philip Mountford says its plans for British stores will take the next step soon: “We’re about to go into Switzerland and Norway and our team is looking at London. When we find the right opportunity we will go in.” A store in the famous shopping street Oxford Street seems to be his main focus.
The goal is to physically return to the United Kingdom before the end of the year. According to Mountford, the Dutch chain fits perfectly between Marks & Spencer and Victoria’s Secret. Currently, the chain has about 900 stores worldwide.
The CEO also immediately refuted rumours that he was about to leave the company, following reports he could move to one of several major British retail companies.
