RetailDetail can proudly announce that “The Future of Shopping: Waar iedereen retailer is” (The Future of Shopping: where everyone is a retailer), written by Pauline Neerman and Jorg Snoeck, is 2018’s management book of the year.
Translations incoming
The winner was announced Thursday evening during the annual management book gala in Rotterdam. The Future of Shopping was published late 2017 and tackles the retail industry’s major questions, from “how can brands align with the New Consumer” to “what is lab meat’s supermarket future”. The title “Management book of the year”, an initiative by online book store managementboek.nl, has been around for fifteen years and only welcomed two Flemish winners. In 2015, Gino Van Ossel was the first with his “Omnichannel in retail” book.
You can read an extensive (Dutch) interview with the authors here. The book is available in your local book store or you can order it online. French, English and even a Chinese translation are underway. Co-author Jorg Snoeck will also give a keynote speech at the upcoming RetailDetail Congress on 26 April in Schelle. There are still some tickets available!
