Aesop, an Australian beauty brand, is to open a first store in the Belgian fashion capital Antwerp. It would be the first own store for the chain in the Benelux.
“Coming soon”
Products of the brand were already for sale in selected shops in Belgium and the Netherlands, but now the brand will also open a complete Aesop store. The exact date of the opening is yet to be announced, but eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted a “Coming soon” announcement in a store on Antwerp’s important shopping axis Nationalestraat.
Aesop has been owned by Brazilian Natura Cosméticos since 2012, 25 years after the brand was founded in Melbourne. Last year British cosmetics giant The Body Shop also joined the Natura family.
