Jeroen Visser, Blokker Holding‘s CFO since 2014, leaves his company on 1 November bij de retailgroep. As the programme of cutting loose all but the eponymous chain is completed, he steps down and Marc Broskij takes over.
“Strategic change on schedule”
After the sale of chains like Leen Bakker, Intertoys and Xenos, CFO Visser feels his job is done and he should continue his career elsewhere. The execution of last year’s strategic change programme is on schedule, the company says: with the other chains gone, Blokker can focus on its eponymous store chain.
Visser’s successor will be Marc Broskij: he will take over responsibility over finance & control – like the divestments and the continuation of the holding company. The new big man has been in Blokker’s service since 2015, after 15 years as an accountant with KPMG.
