Bridge gap between customer and store
Helpouts is a paid Google service, connecting people with experts through
video chat. Asos wants to use the service to bridge the gap between the
customer and the store. At least one stylist will be available for 60 hours per week to offer personal fashion advice: from Monday to
Friday between 9 AM and 9 PM.
Asos had already created a similar project through Google’s free Hangouts
service, but now follows several other brands that had already moved to
Helpouts. Sephora is using the service
to give make-up advice, while American chains Sears and Home Depot give
advice about home improvement and decoration.
