Hvisk, a brand that sells purses and accessories, has its eye on the Benelux. The colourful Danish brand wants to expand further into Europe and is working on that in Belgium, with the Netherlands to follow.
From Belgium and France to the Netherlands
Hvisk presents youthful and colourful accessories including purses, jewellery and hair accessories. At this year’s edition of annual fashion trade event De Modefabriek, the brand will be introducing its collection to buyers and to the press, hoping to gain a foothold in new markets. The brand is currently distributed by over 300 retailers in Europe – including department stores and online platforms.
The products are in demand all over Europe, a press release claims. It is to be expected that the brand is expanding to Belgium, France, Germany and Norway. Afterwards, the next markets will be the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The Netherlands are key, CEO Michael Aoun explains to FashionUnited: “We have high expectations of the Netherlands as a market and we’ve already started various partnerships with Dutch influencers.”
Hvisk accessories are partly developed in collaboration with influencers. “A large part of Hvisk’s identity comes from the democratisation of fashion. We want to develop a brand that listens to the needs and desires of our customers, which is why we include influencers in the way the brand’s decisions are made in general,” Aoun concludes.
