”To double turnover every four years”
“In the next three years we plan to grow about 20-25 percent a year. The big idea is to double the company every four
years“, CEO Manel Jadraque has said in a Reuters interview during the Bread & Butter Fashion Week in Berlin.
Desigual will focus on well-established markets, while it will focus less on expanding into new markets.
“We want to focus on fewer countries, but on penetrating more”, he said.
“Asia is tough. They have different tastes from Europe, but South America is doing well.”
Desigual is currently present with 13,000 stores or sales points in 109 countries. In 2013 turnover rose 17 % to 818
million euro, doubling in 4 years’ time, with 1 billion euro as the goal for next
year. Desigual wants to open some 100 stores per year in the next three
years, with Germany as the main target.
