Belgian fashion retailer LolaLiza says it achieved a first for Europe with a service that lets customers design their own dresses. Afterwards the dresses can be either picked up at a store or delivered at home.
Four steps
The new service, called LolaLiza Atelier, allows customers to let their creativity run loose starting from 4 June. Following four steps (model, size, fabric/print, accessories), customers can design their own dress, personalise it and order it with one click. Within three weeks, the dress is delivered from LolaLiza’s Italian factory. A personalised dress costs between 59 and 79 euros, delivery is free for the countries where LolaLiza has stores (Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands).
“We are proud to be a Belgian company that focuses on digital innovation, centred around the dress. These elements have now led to LolaLiza Atelier, a project that is unique in Europe”, CEO Joachim Rubin says. “With this and other projects, we try to become even more interesting and relevant for our customers.”
