Sports brand Puma and Amazon have launched a joint leisurewear label called ‘Care Of‘, which will be exclusively for sale through Amazon’s marketplace.
Listening to customers
The two retail giants are releasing some fifty items for men and women under the new name: these include shoes, trainers and casual clothing such as T-shirts, leggings, hoodies and jackets. According to Puma, the collection was developed on the basis of consumer feedback and customer reviews left on Amazon Fashion.
With this new line, Puma wants to appeal to a broader customer base: the sports brand is focusing on a slightly older audience than the regular Puma customer. Product and design have their own identity and are completely different from Puma”, the sports brand explained to German website TextilWirtschaft. The iconic Puma logo will therefore not appear on the clothing.
The new clothing line will be distributed exclusively through the various websites of the e-commerce giant. The items will be for sale in France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
