American cosmetics company Estée Lauder has expanded its perfume portfolio with a new brand, By Kilian. No information was divulged about the sum it had to pay to acquire the perfume brand.

“By Killian is a perfect complement to our portfolio of prestige fragrances“, Estée Lauder’s CEO Fabrizio Freda said about the acquisition. “This acquisition gives our company a strategic opportunity to continue to build upon our leadership in ultra-luxury fragrances. We are very excited to work closely with Kilian and the entire By Kilian team to continue building on the brand’s terrific success.”
By Killian, founded in 2007 by Kilian Hennessy, is currently available in more than 40 countries, mainly in Europe, North America and the Middle East. It not only sells perfumes, but also candles and accessories as part of Estée Lauder.
Estéé Lauder’s group also includes brands like M.A.C., Tom Ford, Smashbox, Aramis & Designer Fragances and Men’s Skincare.
