In Belgium and the UK, Just Eat Takeaway.com has started delivering health and personal care products from hundreds of pharmacies. More countries will follow.
Collaboration with pharma group
Meal delivery company Just Eat Takeaway.com is further expanding its operations: the company has entered into a partnership with Phoenix Group, the second largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in Europe. Together with BENU pharmacies in Belgium and Rowlands Pharmacies in the UK, the platform will now offer pharmaceutical products, from pain relief to skin care and intimate hygiene.
With this collaboration, both partners say they want to connect millions of consumers directly with hundreds of pharmacies in Europe. Their ambition is to roll out the project to more markets in Europe.
Just Eat Takeaway.com operates in 17 countries worldwide. In addition to restaurant meals, the platform delivers groceries from supermarkets, and has already recently partnered with pharmacy and drugstore chains such as Boots, Rexall and CURE.
