Maybelline New York calls its latest initiative in the world of digital make-up its “virtual make-up bag”. The cosmetics brand is launching its Maybelline Beauty App in Microsoft Teams, which allows users to apply virtual make-up for their video calls.
“Now even on the busiest day, you can put makeup on with just a click. We hope we make people’s lives a little easier”, says Global Brand President Trisha Ayyagari. The app offers its users the choice between make-up looks.
For the L’Oréal group, this app is a first and a new step in the blending of virtual and physical realities through augmented reality.
