French retail group Fnac Darty posted a 29 % growth in the first quarter of its financial year 2025, but excluding the acquisition of Italian Unieuro the results tell a different story, with a slight turnover drop (- 0.6 %).
Growth through acquisition
Fnac Darty’s remarkable turnover growth of 29 % in the first quarter was entirely attributable to the acquisition of Unieuro, the Italian market leader in consumer electronics and household appliances, at the end of 2024.
