Samsung only made its real début on the smartphone market in 2010, but
has since then surpassed all its competitors. In the third quarter of
last year, it became the world’s leading smartphone producer for the
very first time with an estimated 27.8 million items sold.
Surfing on the mobile mania, Samsung decided to build a new smartphone
chip factory in China. A logical choice according to some
analysts, who call China “the world’s major electronics consumer”.
