The Wall Street Journal has stated that for 100,000 euro, customers can buy a ticket for a flight with the Dutch space agency Space Expedition Corporation, whose owner (Michiel Mols) hopes to start test flights later this year.
Through Taobao, the company hopes to attract the emerging wealthy Chinese middle-class. Its spaceship only has room for 1 and will travel up 100 kilometers. Apparently, several tickets have already been sold, according to the Space Expedition Corporation.
