The first so-called “Mi Experience Store” would open its doors in Rotterdam next month, Androidworld reports on the basis of some job offers for a store manager and assistant store managers.
At the beginning of last year, Xiaomi announced that it would open physical stores in Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Later, the smartphone manufacturer announced that the plans had not been abandoned but delayed: the Chinese company said it needed more time to consult with its Dutch partners.
In Europe, Xiaomi previously opened physical stores in Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) and France (Paris). It is the fourth-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, after rival Huawei and the giants Samsung and Apple.
