Plans for a second brewery
London brewery Camden Town makes beers like Hells Lager and Gentleman’s Wit with merely 95 employees and sold about 12 million pints. Compared to SABMiller, this is indeed a very small acquisition.
Camden Town Brewery, founded in 2010 by the owner of Hampstead’s the Horseshoe pub, only had 3 employees back then, but its beers are now available in more than 1,000 locations, like Sweden, Japan and Australia.
A crowdfunding campaign helped rake in a lot of money last year and Camden Town Brewery has plans for a second brewery.
