The busy online luxury market is set to become even busier, as Amazon would be planning to bring its Luxury Stores to Europe. Currently, the platform is only available in the United States.

Just a few days after Zalando expanded its luxury range through a collaboration with Not Just A Label, WWD reports Amazon has set its eyes on the European online luxury market as well. The fashion website says it has heard the story from various sources, but was unable to get confirmation from Amazon or the luxury brands involved.
Amazon Luxury Stores, launched in 2020, is an online luxury platform that currently is only made available for US customers. Moreover, it is also invitation only. This way, the American e-commerce giant is trying to get a foothold in the hugely lucrative – and equally busy – luxury market.
