Hiding their origin
Several groups have bypassed the Russian import ban almost immediately, shipping the products to countries that do not have such a ban. They are then re-labeled and shipped to Russia anyway. Fruit farmers from the Belgian province of Limburg have apparently collaborated with companies from Belarus to do the same.
In essence, these tactics are not legal, as the origin of food products has to be traceable at all times and when products are re-labeled, tracing becomes impossible. Dutch companies have a similar route to Russia, but they use Turkey as a stepping stone.
