Fashion retailer C&A, which already introduced a new logo and corporate identity, starts working now on a new store concept. In Zurich, the budget chain’s flagship store was the first to receive a makeover.
Moss walls and design studio
In Switzerland, C&A has completely redesigned its store layout: the flagship store of no less than 2,500 square metres and six storeys in Zurich has been given a new look. The concept is now more in line with the new house style of the fashion brand, as presented at the end of August. With the slogan “Wear the Change”, the retail chain is aiming for a sustainable image, while the new logo should appear direct, confident and uncomplicated.
These elements are now also reflected in the new shop, as C&A wants to provide shoppers with a “clear and stress-free shopping experience”. The sustainable aspect is also reflected in the moss walls and plants on the shop floor, which, according to the press release, also contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. On the walls you can read even more about the sustainable initiatives of the retailer.
The whole is also equipped with a “design studio”, to respond to the trend towards personalisation. Customers can, for example, have something printed or embroidered on their garments. In the fitting rooms, shoppers can ask for the help of a shop assistant via a touch screen.
