After eleven years as Dior Homme’s Chief Creative Officer, Belgian Kris Van Assche is to leave the fashion label to find new challenges. British designer Kim Jones will replace him.
First Kim Jones collection in June
“After eleven years at Dior Homme, my heart and mind have been filled with experiences. I will leave this fashion label to find new challenges”, Van Assche said in an official statement. It has not yet been revealed what those challenges might be, but according to Women’s Wear Daily, he will move to a new position at parent company LVMH.
Kim Jones, another LVMH employee, will replace Van Assche at Dior Homme. He previously worked for Louis Vuitton, where he also designed the men’s collections. Jones’ first Dior collection will be revealed in June.
