FNG, the parent company of Miss Etam and Claudia Sträter, among others, is restructuring its Dutch head office organisation, resulting in the loss of 50 jobs. At the same time, the company has announced the appointment of Richard Turk as the Managing Director for FNG Netherlands.
Centralisation
FNG wants to work more efficiently, which is why all departments are being rearranged and centralised into the office in Diemen. The new organisational structure should be operational by the start of next year. The restructure is expected to lead to the loss of 50 jobs. There will be about ten new vacancies in the digital domain.
In addition to the reorganisation, FNG has also announced the appointment of Richard Turk as the Managing Director for FNG Netherlands, which designs and sells the brands Miss Etam, Steps, Promiss, Claudia Sträter and Expresso.
“This change in structure will result in a modern, organised fashion (retail) group with a cost-efficient structure and, in particular, maximum sharpness and customer focus in terms of brands and operational excellence within the functional disciplines. At the same time, the structure gives us great flexibility so that we can not only face the strategic challenges posed by a complex market, but so that we are also able to proactively respond to them. In other words, this is the way in which we can make FNG Netherlands Fit for the Future” says Turk in a press release.
