English shoe brand Clarks has a new distributor for the Benelux countries, the Group Alain Broekaert (GAB). Together, they plan to open sixteen stores in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands: the first will open as early as May, in Antwerp.

To further grow its Benelux business, Clarks is partnering with an experienced local fashion distributor, which also distributes well-known brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Scotch & Soda, Pepe Jeans and Hackett to some 500 wholesalers.
GAB has big ambitions with Clarks: “We plan to open sixteen stores, rather sooner than later”, Alain Broekaert told RetailDetail. “The first will open in Antwerp’s Kammenstraat in May.” GAB says Clarks is “something unique”: “the timeless design complements our existing shoe range, in which Clarks will be our flagship.”
