Sabrina Simmons, CFO at fashion group Gap, has decided to leave the company after 15 years of service. She will stay until the end of the fiscal year 2016, but will then look for another challenge.
No successor yet
“Throughout her 15-year tenure, Sabrina has been one of our most passionate and respected leaders. She was critical in establishing Gap Inc.’s capital structure framework and maintaining operating discipline across the enterprise, both of which have delivered significant value to our shareholders,” CEO Art Peck said in a press release.
Simmons joined Gap in 2001 and progressed through several positions before becoming the CFO in 2007. “I feel very fortunate to have spent a meaningful part of my career at Gap Inc., and I will always be grateful to the Fisher family, to my colleagues, and to my team for the opportunities I’ve had with the company”, Simmons said.
It is not clear what Simmons will do afterwards and no successor has been appointed either.
