“Logical step”
Lotte Confectionery, Guylian’s South Korean distributor, will exploit the store that will offer the regular array of pralines, a series of traditional pralines and a range of desserts. Lunch and coffee will also be served.
“South Korean group LOTTE bought Chocolaterie Guylian NV in 2008 and it is a logical step to now introduce that authentic Guylian tradition to their own country. They will also try to entice the local population to taste and buy our unique Belgian chocolate creations”, a spokesperson for Chocolaterie Guylian in Sint-Niklaas said.
Guylian already has three cafes in Sydney (Australia), which are all performing very well, and there are plans to expand into other regions.
