H&M is launching a remarkable initiative: under the name “One/Second/Suit”, the fashion giant will rent out suits for men. According to the Swedes, this is aimed primarily at men who are applying for new jobs.
First impression sticks
It has been adequately proven that making a good first impression is crucial when applying for a job. Through their new rental service, H&M wants to support men regarding this matter, so that “they can make a powerful first impression during a job interview.”
Customers can borrow a suit free of charge through One/Second/Suit for 24 hours. The suit gets delivered to the customer, who will then have 24 hours to return it. The new service launched in the United Kingdom last week and will be available in the United States starting in mid-May, reports FashionUnited. Both countries serve as test cases.
