This summer, Burberry reopened its London flagship store on New Bond Street after a major makeover. The sleek interior focuses all attention on the British luxury brand’s collections.
Stripped-down setting
The store had closed for months for a complete refurbishment, and reopened at the end of June. In the revamped flagship store, Burberry opted for a sleek interior, with modern furniture providing striking accents. The minimalist setting was specifically designed to further highlight the fashion pieces.
In addition to the familiar collections (womenswear, menswear, eyewear, shoes and accessories), the store focuses on leather goods. There is also a new VIP area. The ceiling lighting design mimics the famous Burberry Check – the pattern introduced in the 1920s – alluding to the brand’s rich heritage.
The store reopens in time to unveil creative director Daniel Lee’s first collection, in September.
