Inditex, the Spanish fashion group behind Zara, Bershka and Massimo Dutti, has posted another record profit for 2024. However, the golden age seems to be over: growth is not reaching the double-digit percentages of previous years.
Flagship Zara loses momentum
For the full year 2024, sales rose by 7.5% to 38.7 billion euros, while net profit increased by 8.9% to 5.9 billion euros. These are historic records in absolute terms, according to CEO Óscar García Maceiras, but lower than the double-digit growth seen in recent years.
