Swedish H&M once again managed to attract a big name to create an exclusive collection for the fashion chain. This time around, the Parisian fashion label Kenzo will creatively collaborate with H&M.
“Push boundaries”
American duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, in charge of Kenzo since 2011, will create a men’s, a women’s and an accessory collection, which should launch on 3 November. Undoubtedly, this will once again draw in huge crowds, similarly to when H&M collaborated with Isabelle Marant, Stella McCartney and Balmain. Its latest collection, designed by Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, sold out within the hour.
“We want to go big for our collaboration with H&M, we want to push boundaries and transfer Kenzo’s new energy to everyone in the world”, the designer duo explained their plan for H&M.
Kenzo, founded in 1971 by French-Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, became French luxury label LVMH’s property in 1993.
