LolaLiza will soon be present in multi-brand shops throughout Europe. Retailers will now be able to order directly from the Belgian brand.
No agent needed
LolaLiza is reinventing itself: last year, the Belgian clothing retailer launched a new slogan and a new branding, while the company also moved to a new headquarters in the heart of Brussels. Now the brand is moving into international wholesale.
Thanks to a partnership with the Fashion Cloud platform, retailers from any location can order online and without intermediaries. Four days later, the collections could already be on the shelves, says the Belgian fast-fashion player.
A multi-channel strategy
“We are very proud of how far we have come in four years. Various aspects of our operations have been rethought and reworked, including our logistics, our design process, our sourcing, our shops, etc. The 2022 results are the best proof of this,” said CEO Joachim Rubin, who has led the Belgian family business since 2018.
Rubin is pursuing a multi-channel strategy and strongly believes in a synergy between e-commerce and physical retail. Thus, in 2022, the company partnered with Zalando and Wehkamp, among others. In addition, LolaLiza now has 91 directly operated shops in Belgium, Luxembourg and France. With the move to wholesale, the brand intends to move up a gear in its transformation.
“The economic forecasts for the year 2023 are not rosy, but we are confident in our future. LolaLiza has organised itself in a flexible and efficient way, and we now need to build on our omnichannel approach. We are accelerating our online development and exploring new markets with the ‘Wholesale 2.0.’ approach,” said the CEO.
