In collaboration with Shazam, Spanish clothing giant Mango developed a new app, which gives customers an opportunity to decide which music is played in stores.
Mango digitizes shopping experience
Shazam In-Store is fully integrated into Shazam’s regular app and gives customers additional options if they are in particular Mango stores. The chain is the latest to use the technology, following companies like Office Depot.
Customers that have been in twenty of Mango’s Spanish stores, will unlock several extras in the Shazam In-Store app, like exclusive campaigns and discounts. They will also be given access to Mango’s social media, including its own Spotify channel launched last year.
Customers can also decide which music, from a list in the store’s playlist, is played in stores.
Mango continues to invest in its shopping experience digitization. It launched a new payment service in October 2016, which eliminated the need to wait in line because smartphone payments could be done from anywhere in the store.
