Eurazeo, which owns fashion brands like Desigual and Moncler, appointed a new CEO. Starting 19 March 2018, Virginie Morgon will succeed Patrick Sayer. She has been part of the company’s board for ten years.
Continue growth
Morgon is a familiar face for Eurazeo: for the past ten years, she has been an executive board member for the fashion company and she has also served as current CEO Patrick Sayer’s “deputy CEO” for the past three years. When he steps down, Sayer will have led the group for four terms and sixteen years in total. He led the company’s international expansion, with offices in Brazil, China and the United States.
“Virginie Morgon’s personal qualities, experience and key contribution to numerous successes, have made her the Supervisory Board’s natural choice to continue and accelerate Eurazeo’s growth momentum”, the company said in a press release “. It will be a “seamless” transition. I am very conscious of the progress achieved and I know the Eurazeo family will be in expert hands with people who know the company well”, CEO Patrick Sayer added.
