Store locations already purchased
When it first introduced its new chain, Colruyt immediately announced that it might move to new location if the first store in Overijse performed well. The group has now decided to add three additional stores early next year – even without that Overijse performance. According to newspaper De Morgen, Colruyt has already bought the location for the stores.
Cru has been created “for and by people with a passion for nice food, pure tastes and authentic quality products”. Colruyt wants to create an actual “market feeling” with Cru, focusing on fresh products and a staff with product knowledge.
“Cru is for people who want quality products in their purest form and who want to (re)discover contemporary simplicity. The chain wants to connect customers, partners and employees in such a way that they can fully experience their passion for the product and fine food”, Colruyt states.
