Streetwear and sneaker store chain Size? will open its first Belgian store in the IJzerenwaag in Antwerp. Size? says it is a story teller and the chain is also part of JD Sports Fashion.
“The story is the most important”
Size?’s first Belgian store will be in the IJzerenwaag, close to the trendy Kammenstraat district. It is also the brand’s fortieth store in Europe. It is known for its experimental approach and “concept stores”.
Size? was founded in 2000 as a JD Sports Fashion group experiment in London, Manchester and Brighton. The goal was that each store had its own character and that the product range would be catered to what the local populace craved. “The sneakers’ story is always the most important”, a Size? press release stated.
Co creation is another typical part of the store formula: it has “limited editions” and often collaborates with brands like Puma, Adidas and Nike to launch exclusive collections, which are only available in one of its 39 (soon 40) European stores.
