Stradivarius, a clothing chain that is part of Spanish group Inditex, has opened its first store in the Netherlands, in the Kalverstraat (Amsterdam).
Oysho also on its way to the Netherlands
The 1,300 sqm store has two floors and will rotate its in-store collections on a weekly basis, according to RetailNews. It is the chain’s first store in the Netherlands, although Stradivarius clothes have been available online in the country since 2013.
Stradivarius opened its first stores in 1994 and now almost has 1,000 stores in 62 countries. It is part of the Spanish Inditex company, which also owns chains like Pull & Bear, Zara and Massimo Dutti.
Inditex’ Oysho chain will also soon arrive in the Netherlands, as announced in the summer of 2015. This store will also come to Amsterdam, but there is no confirmation on its location or opening date so far.
