The new Tanger Markt store has opened its door last Thursday in the Lobeliusstraat in Zaandam. It also has stores in Antwerp, Almere, Amsterdam, and two in Rotterdam.
Tanger Markt is focused on the multicultural market, with spices from different kitchens worldwide. All meat is 100 % halal and its aisles are arranged according to the kitchen: you can find Moroccan, Turkish, Surinamese and Asian. The very first Tanger Markt was founded in the 1980’s as a chicken wholesale business in The Hague.
