An average Dutch woman spends 845 euros per year on her clothes, almost double the figure of an average man (476 euros). Nevertheless, they spend almost as much per order. What else do the figures say?
Clear differences
There are clear fault lines running through the Dutch population in terms of fashion spending: women buy clothes an average of nine times a year, men just over five. Equally pronounced is the age gap: over-50s spend not even half as much (501 euros) on clothes as young adults (1094 euros).
