Patrick Desrumaux is leaving Belgian fashion label Xandres after eight years as CEO. He has found a new challenge outside of the fashion sector and is temporarily succeeded by current CFO Pieter Van Dyck, as the search for a permanent new CEO begins.
Looking for new CEO
Desrumaux has been appointed as Marketing Director at Lyreco Benelux, a wholesaler of office supplies and workplace solutions. He has been CEO at Xandres for eight years, overseeing the company’s expansion into Germany and switch to a more sustainable business model – famously making a stand against Black Friday.
In an interview with RetailDetail, Desrumaux said he was grateful for eight great years at Xandres, during which he “had the opportunity to achieve a lot of great things with a great team”. While the search for a new CEO has started, hoped to yield results before the end of this year, CFO Van Dyck will be CEO ad interim.
