Zalando is strengthening its partnership with Diane von Furstenberg (DVF): a wide selection of her designs will now be exclusively available on the online platform in 25 European countries.
Appealing to a new generation
Zalando will be the sole retail partner for DVF in Europe, in all of the 25 markets in which the German platform is active. However, the luxury brand will continue to be available on its own webshop and in the DVF boutique in Brussels. DVF aims to reach a new generation of fashion enthusiasts through Zalando’s focus on digital innovation and contemporary storytelling. “Zalando shares our vision to empower women and offer them quality clothes that make them feel confident”, Diane von Furstenberg said in a press release.
The brand has been part of Zalando’s designer portfolio since 2018. Since early last year, the fashion platform has intensified its focus on luxury with the “Zalando Designer experience,” offering a boutique-style shopping experience for designer brands. Both partners will celebrate their extended collaboration with a joint marketing campaign in March.
