After a year of testing, Zalando has officially launched ZEOS. The platform now allows fashion brands to use its logistics network for deliveries from their own shops, even for sales through competing platforms.
Multichannel integration
With ZEOS, Zalando allows brands and retailers to send their products to a network of twelve distribution centres, the logistics service then takes care of the rest. Whether the purchase is made on Zalando, the brand’s own webshop or even a competing platform such as Amazon, does not matter.
Brands will have access to a pool of more than forty carriers and some 160 delivery and return options in 23 European markets, Vice-President B2B Jan Bartels said. Zalando tries to appeal to fashion brands that do not sell through the platform, while existing partner brands can manage their multichannel sales within one integrated platform.
A test with selected partners already started in October 2022. Thirty brands and retailers, such as Pepe Jeans and Polish shoe brand Kazar, are already using the service.
