Zalando trials second-hand shop in Berlin

Fashion22 August, 2019

Zalando tests a second-hand shop for women’s fashion items in Berlin, called Zircle. It is the second venture of the German e-tailer into second-hand clothing, following the app Zalando Wardrobe.

Fixed prices

Zircle recently opened in the Alexa shopping centre in the German capital, as Excitingcommerce reports. The store aims for women’s clothing that has been worn, but still remained in a good state. Everything is for sale for fixed prices: items of clothing cost either three, five or seven euros.

Zircle is the German e-tailer’s second initiative in the second-hand business, after its Wardrobe app that allowed customers to sell second-hand clothing – either to Zalando itself as to other users of the platform. Conversely, the new Berlin store has stated it only sells clothes: customers who want to sell their clothes are advised to turn to the Wardrobe app.
