Web shop Zalando’s curated shopping service, Zalon, opened its first pop-up sore in Berlin late last week. Over the course of the next three weeks, customers can talk directly talk to the stylists.
Make things more personal
Zalon has been around on Zalando for a while. The service provides clothing packages, put together by Zalando’s stylists. Just like other, similar services, it uses customer preferences to compile a package and the customer is not required to buy the final package.
The Berlin-based pop-up store is a way for customers to trial the system live. Customers can book an appointment with a stylist and will get free advice in the store. They can even try out a part of the collection, which gets altered regularly. If the customers wish to purchase something, they can use the pop-up’s tablets and get the order delivered at home.
“We want to make the exchange between stylists and customers more personal thanks to the Zalon pop-up store”, Ivo Scherkamp told Fashion United. He runs Zalon for Zalando. The pop-up store will remain open until 9 December, from Wednesday until Saturday.
