More than one million Dutch customers now have a My Albert Heijn Premium subscription. Those subscribers not only enjoy extra benefits but also buy organic and plant-based products more often than before.

Albert Heijn launched the ‘omnichannel subscription’ My Albert Heijn Premium in 2021. With the subscription, customers enjoy benefits such as 10% discount on all organic products, 10% discount on all plant-based AH Terra products, ten personal Bonus Box offers every week, saving stamps twice as fast and premium deals up to 50% off.
On average, subscribers thus save 84 euros a year, while the price for an annual subscription is only 12 euros. And those who do not recoup the subscription cost in the first year will get the difference back in shopping credit from Albert Heijn. With the subscription, the retailer also succeeds in promoting more conscious eating and drinking: in fact, subscribers buy organic and plant-based products more often than before.
