Years of experience in the company
Fichtel has had previous working experiences at s.Oliver. He used to be CEO for one of s.Oliver’s labels, Comma, from 2000 to 2003 and from 2010 onward again. In the 2004-2009 time frame, he was Basler’s CEO, but it seems he will now combine his position at Comma with the position of s.Oliver’s CEO.
His predecessor, Pichler, had only been with the German company since January 2014, but a dispute now pushes him out the door. In his short period at the helm of the company, he did develop a new strategy for the brand, giving each sub-label a new name.
Starting with the fall and winter collections of 2015, Triangle will become an independent label, instead of being part of s.Oliver. “It is a logical step for Triangle and an important signal towards the market“, Pichler said.
