Online beer platform Beerwulf.com is starting a trial with beer subscriptions in the United Kingdom. At a later date, the trials will be expanded to other European countries as well.
Data collection
The first trial is to be carried out with a selection of English craft beers. Customers who pay a fixed monthly fee, will regularly receive a box containing a number of ‘small’ English beers to enjoy at home. Emerce.nl reports that the online beer store is also thinking about a similar test based on Belgian beers. In total, three beer subscriptions would be launched.
With these trials, Beerwulf mainly wants to collect data and see whether the consumer demand is big enough to include the subscriptions in their fixed product range. Since the merger with English company The Sub in the spring, Beerwulf has had an active presence in eleven European countries. Now that the two companies are largely integrated, the online beer store wants to focus more on the market and on the future.
