Exclusive T-shirt
The store has been designed by the Italian architect Andrea
Caputo, who already created several Carhartt Work In
Progress stores. To celebrate the opening, anexclusive T-shirt will be designed, only for sale in
Ghent.
Hamilton Carhartt founded his eponymous company in 1889 in Detroit.
It took until 1997 for it to release a collection in Europe, designed by Work
in Progress. The company currently has more than
60 own stores worldwide and has added a web shop in 2011. This shop should
expand into the US, Italy, Spain and Australia soon.
