Chinese JD.com trials online hypermarket in UK

After Ochama in the Netherlands, Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is now trying to launch a British online hypermarket. It is currently being tested, ahead of the full launch at the end of this year.

Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is taking its first steps into the UK market with the test launch of Joybuy. The platform offers a wide range of food, personal care and household products, and trade magazine The Grocer notes that the offering includes hundreds of private label products from British supermarket chain Morrisons.
