Belgian chocolate manufacturer Guylian, mostly known for its seafood chocolates, has launched its own web shop in order to present a more varied product range.

“Consumers know our seafood chocolate with hazelnut filling, but Guylian is much more than that. We have truffles, seahorses in different flavours, chocolate bars, chocolate-covered fruit and delightful boxes for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. However, consumers do not know these products as well”, general manager Mieke Callebaut said.
Currently, the brand is available in more than 100 countries, but now customers in 32 European countries will be able to buy Guylian online as well. The web shop will also be used to launch new products or to have temporary discounts.
The web shop will also present more information about each and every one of Guylian’s products. “Every product will get multiple images and a clear ingredients list with a focus on allergens. We want the customer to be fully aware about what they are buying, even though our Guylian chocolates always have that element of surprise as part of their overall experience”, Callebaut said.
