The Swiss food giant has started the year better than expected: despite a volume increase of only 0.7 % (just half as much as the 1.5% in the last quarter of 2024), Nestlé was able to more than compensate for this with average price increases of 2.1 %. The group thus achieved a turnover increase of 2.3 % to 22.6 billion Swiss francs (24 billion euros).
